How it works?
Data Competition Canada (April 2016) is a national data competition in which teams of 2 to 4 people work together to analyze a large dataset looking for interesting and actionable insights. The mission of Data Competition Canada is to highlight the importance and value of data-driven decision making. Student participants will learn to work in teams and will have a chance to show off their analytical skills and ingenuity. Each team will have 7 minutes to present their findings to a panel of judges (in-person or via video-submission) and compete for one of three prizes: (1) Most Compelling Use of the Data, (2) Most Effective Use of Visualizations, (3) Most Effective Use of Outside Data
